Nik B recently read This Naked Mind for the second time and has been listening to the podcasts as well. My history of drinking sounds very much like that of Ruari One Year No Beer who you recently had on your podcast and it finally brought it all together for me…. I was raised by drinking parents my step father would go on to suffer badly from addiction and finally quit alcohol after losing his small intestine and seeing every Only Fools and Horses episode surrounding drinks at the Nags Head. Teenagers take pride in their drunken escapades and I was no different and boasting how hungover I was or how much I could drink continued into my 30s. However, the reason I found a connection with the podcast recently, was because I went on to become a broker living in London. Thus, I was taking out clients and drinking heavily as the youngest on the desk.

He is a very clever man, or should I say very clever man who has studied law; in his own words on the show. What I found very disturbing about this programme was the ease at which people were manipulated by his reasoning. So what? I here you ask. Well, how many innocent people have been convicted by the same audience manipulation techniques?
